Attractive Remington Derringer with blued barrel and nickled frame, assembled early enough to be an ANTIQUE.

Description:

Beautiful high condition Remington Arms Derringer cal .41 RF, later known as a model 95 Double Derringer. This very early factory blued/nickled example has the manufacturer address Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N.Y. on the top rib. Three digit SN “245” on lower barrel, only visible upon disassembly. Small parts blued. Fitted with the usual finely checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition:

VG as partially restored. The barrel seems to have to original finish while the frame and several of the small parts appear to have been reworked at a later date, most of the small parts salt blued. Bright bores. Perfect manual mechanics. A very attractive albeit partially restored Remington dual tone Derringer old enough to be an ANTIQUE.
