Description:
38 caliber rimfire. Manufactured circa 1866-1870, and designed by David Williamson. German Silver Blade front and hammer notch rear sights, with an engraved arrow on top of the barrel and "WIlliamson's Pat Oct 2 1866 NEW YORK" on the left . Fine scroll Engraving is visible on the gilt finished upper tang, breech, trigger guard and trigger guard finials, with a sunburst pattern on the tip of the stock, which ends in a checkered bird's head butt. It comes with an auxiliary/adapter for 22 rimfire. Note Wild Bill Hickok was known to carry one just like this in his shirt pocket. Excellent condition.
