The New Detonics Series II is a modern iteration of the classic 1911 .45 ACP pistol, designed for enhanced concealability and performance. Originally introduced in 1977 by Detonics Firearms Industries in Bellevue, Washington, the Series II was produced during their tenure from 1989 to 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona. Currently company known as Detonics Defense Technologies.
Its key features include compact design with a more compact 4.25" barrel than full sized 1911. It boasts a stainless steel frame paired with a blued steel slide, offering a balance between durability and weight. Equipped with a six-round magazine. The pistol includes a throated barrel with a polished feed ramp and a self-adjusting cone barrel centering system, aiming to improve feeding reliability and overall performance.
This specimen, serial number ISV022 is all original and has not seen much use. We would rate in 99% condition. There shows in images some dried oil in recesses as we have when acquired almost 200 firearms to process and post. We will finish cleaning before shipping. The only appreciable wear is on barrel which can be polished and a small amount of wear on the rear left side of frame. The bore is minty as well as the grips. Adjustable rear sight.
