Fine English Dueling pistol manufactured by Perrins & Son, and marked on the lock plates. The full inscription on the top barrel flat is marked ""Perrins & Son Makers to H.R.H. Prince Albert, Windsor."" Bores are excellent and are rifled and are approximately .50 Cal. Barrel lengths are 10"" and overall lengths are 15.5"". Triggers are not adjustable as would be proper for Duelers. The lockplates, tangs and buttcaps have excellent case coloring. The stocks show some handling marks, scattered light dents. The grip checkering is very good with only very little handling marks. The case has two cleaning/loading rods, one for seating the ball. The other for cleaning. Flask has three compartment with space for balls, the powder, and percussion caps. Case has the oiler. The case has a Manton & Son trade label. Cases were changed over the years to accept pairs of pistols from lost or damaged cases. These pistols fit perfectly and the accessories are correct for percussion duelers. Very fine pistols from the Gunmaker to his Royal Highness Prince Albert.
