The 1919 Commercial Luger pistol is also known to some collectors as the 1923 Commercial model. It can be identified by six features: 1) the late flat toggle knobs; 2) the toggle with the scroll DWM marking; 3) the unmarked chamber; 4) the stock lug; 5) the commercial crown over N proof on the left side of the receiver; and 6) the serial number range of 73500 to 96000. The 3 5/8"" 7.65mm barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 90% blue and 50% straw finish. The unnumbered grips are good with the right grip having a crack at the bottom front. The serial numbers are matching. The action functions correctly. This is a good representative example of the uncommon 1919 commercial luger pistol.
