This 7.65mm (30 Luger) DWM 1920 commercial Luger has the seven features expected of this model: 1. Late toggle knobs; 2. Scroll DWM inscription on the toggle; 3. Blank chamber; 4. Stock lug; 5. Commercial crown over N proof marks on the barrel, receiver, and breechblock; 6. 4"" 7.65mm barrel; and 7. Serial number of nore more than four digits. The bore is fine with strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 92% blue with fading on the left side of the barrel and sideplate and light high point wear. The straw parts are faded to approx 30% with the trigger being better and the safety lever being worse. The left side of the frame above the take down lever is stamped GERMANY (upside down and faint) showing that this gun was intended for export to the U.S. The extractor is marked GELADEN. The grips are fine with light to moderate wear. The barrel, frame, takedown, trigger, sideplate, and rear toggle link numbers match. All other parts are unnumbered. The action functions correctly. The wood base magazine is correctly not numbered. This is a nice example of the 1920 commercial Luger that kept DWM afloat after WWI.
