Guns International #: 101860660
Seller's Inventory #: PR57149
This 1921 dated DWM receiver is married to an eariler frame. The 4"" 9mm Parabellum (9mm Luger) caliber barrel has a good bore with strong rifling and with frosting in the grooves. The frame, with matching numbers throughout including the grips, is early without the hold open device. The receiver is dated 1921 over the chamber and is marked DWM on the toggle. The receiver and barrel numbers match. The toggle assembly is a different series of matching numbers and the sideplate is a different number as well. The gun has approx. 90% blue with the straw parts faded. The grips are very good with the wear expected of an over 100 year old gun. The unnumbered aluminum base fxo magazine is good with a dent on the bottom left. The grip face is marked 13.T.S.63.251. Tis appears to stand for the 13th Field Signals Regiment, 3rd Telegraph Company, Gun No. 251. The action functions correctly. This is a reasonably priced Luger to get you started on your collection.
