This 1917 dated 9mm Navy Luger is in excellent condition. They are called either the Model 1914 or 1916 Navy depending on the reference you use. This pistol was made specifically for the German Navy. It features the late toggle knobs, Naval crown over M proofs, no grip safety, and 1917 on top of the chamber, ldft side of the front sight, and left side of the frame. The 6"" barrel has a fine bore with frosting in the grooves. The gun retains approx. 98% blue. The strawed takedown lever, trigger, safety lever, and ejector have bright colors. The non-matching grips are excellent. All the numbers are matching except fot the firing pin which is unnumbered. The unnumbered magazine has the wood base with the Navy concentric circles. The action functions correctly. You'll go a long way before you find a better 1917 dated Navy Luger!
