"Serial number 1933H. Made in 1917. 9mm caliber with an 8" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 97% of the original blue. This gun is in 9mm and has the red “9" branded into the grips. This is unusual because all of the military guns were in 9mm unlike the Red nines in the Broomhandles where the Red 9 branding were used to signify the 9mm from the 7.63 Mauser caliber. This is however a well known variation that no one seems to know exactly why this was done. The grips are very good, but there is only trace amounts of the red paint. This gun is all matching except the magazine. The stock is even matching to this gun. This gun has the original stock and Holster. This is a fantastic set!
