DWM ~ 1906/34 ~ 7.65x21 Parabellum
Description: For your consideration, a Swiss model 1906/34 Luger chambered in 7.65x21 Parabellum. This piece is a scarce example of an interbellum Swiss Luger assembled by Mauser using DWM parts, circa 1934. It bears the humped front strap frame and DWM toggle of earlier production, but has been retrofitted with a wide trigger, wide grip safety, and serrated thumb safety. All numbered components match, however, the grips, firing pin, and grip safety are unnumbered. The unnumbered, wood-bottomed magazine has the later, rimmed loading button for which the frame is correspondingly relieved. Markings consist of the Swiss cross within sunburst crest, DWM's monogram, crown/U proofs on barrel underside, barrel extension, and breechblock, and a tastefully minimal import mark on the rim of the magazine well. Prospective owners can expect strawed parts rating at 70% or greater, thinned bluing on front and back strap, and edge and holster wear. This piece comes from the collection of Luger scholar, Paul Regnier of Switzerland. .30 Luger/7.65x21 Parabellum SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Metal Condition: Antique Very Good Wood Condition: Antique Very Good Bore Condition: Very Good Barrels: 4.75 Triggers: Wide Weight: 2 lbs Sights: Iron Sights Item Location: Hamburg, PA |
