DWM 1900 COMMERCIAL
Description: 30 Luger; 97% blue, 70% straw, fair bore, very good grips, 4.75'' barrel, Factory cased early 1900 commercial pistol with unrelieved frame. 4 3/4 inch 7.65m/m caliber barrel. DWM scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles with intact toggle latch. Grip safety. Checkered walnut grips. Proper plain wood bottom magazine with flat button. Unique frame numbering with the serial number on the back of the frame above the lanyard bar. All numbered parts are matching except for the grips which are numbered 18. In a black leatherette DWM factory case with plain lid and no handle. Green felt interior includes a cleaning rod/oiler handle, pin punch and takedown tool. Partioned for two spare magazines, an extra original flat button magazine included. This case is featured on page 1432 of the book "Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. Excellent condition over all. Period restoration. Small dent of front grip strap. Bore show wear and heavy frost throughout. There is a small area of scratching on the left side of the toggle housing where it appears a marking was defaced. Grips show minor handling. Frame has a small crack on rear grip strap to the right of the grip safety. Excellent magazine with replaced base and pin. Mechanically excellent. Accessories in case are in excellent condition. The case itself has normal wear for its age with some spots worn through on the exterior which appears to have been dyed. Fittings for key hole are missing. Small import mark on the bottom of the frame. C&R/FFL FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE (FFL): is required on all shipments of modern guns. We must wait for a copy from your dealer before we can ship to them. We will also ship C&R eligible firearms to Curio and Relic (C&R) license holders.
