DWM ~ 1914 Military Model ~ 9 MM Parabellum
Description: This 1914 Military Model pistol is a DWM Luger chambered in 9 MM Parabellum. It has matching serial numbers on all parts, except for the magazines. It has a dorsal-fin-shaped blade dovetail front sight, a fixed V notch rear sight on the rear togglelink, a 3⅞ inch barrel with a German Military Test Fire Proof Mark, the top of the chamber is marked "1915," and the ejector, magazine catch/release, takedown lever, thumb safety lever and trigger all appear to be straw colored. The full serial number is found on the bottom of the barrel, the front of the frame, and the left side of the receiver. The 1914 Military Model was made specifically for military sales to the German Army. The 1914 Military Model can be distinguished from other Lugers by six features in combination: (1) The toggle is marked with the scroll DWM logo, (2) A four-digit year date inscription above the chamber, (3) It has a stock lug, (4) 4-inch [3⅞ inch or 100 mm] barrel length, (5) No commercial proof marks, and (6) No signs of rework. It comes with a total of 2 magazines, a red velvet lined wooden display case, a "Parabellum" booklet, and a tool. 9mm Luger SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Metal Condition: "Bluing finish is in overall very good condition, with a couple 2 millimeter sized areas of freckling on the barrel. No rust is observable.
