Description: The American Eagle Luger represents one of the most historically significant and collectible variants of the famous P08 pistol, manufactured by DWM specifically for the American commercial market before World War I. These pistols featured the distinctive American Eagle crest on the chamber and "GERMANY" marking to comply with U.S. import requirements, making them highly sought after by collectors of both German and American firearms history.
This very fine example retains crisp markings and legends with 70% of its original rust blue finish. The straw colored small parts have been expertly restored to as-new condition, enhancing the pistol's overall appearance.
