Iconic DWM Marked Semi-Automatic 7.65mm Luger Auto GERMAN LUGER C&R Pistol Iconic WWI and WWII German Military Sidearm!
Description: Iconic DWM Marked Semi-Automatic 7.65mm Luger Auto GERMAN LUGER C&R Pistol Iconic WWI and WWII German Military Sidearm! Here we present a German Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, circa the 1910s by DWM in Berlin, Germany. The Pistole Parabellum, commonly known as just Luger, is a toggle-locked recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol that was produced in several models and by several nations from 1898 to 1948. Basing his design off Hugo Borchardt’s seminal C93, Georg Luger successfully brought Borchardt’s work to practical fruition. While finding buyers for the C93 seemed an exercise in futility, the new Luger Pistol found many countries eager to test it and even adopt it. There are many variations in this field of collecting, but relatively few major changes in overall design from beginning to end. The Luger is certainly one of the most iconic firearms in history, made so by its association with Germany during both World Wars. The top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. The chamber is stamped with a Gothic “F”. The overall condition is nearing fine. The action is robust and tight all around. The bore is mirror bright in fine shape. Both grips are in very good shape with a vibrant finish and expected handling wear. Here is a must have piece of German history to round out the collection! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 6 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm Luger Auto Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2265 #201681 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
