WW2 DWM LUGER P.08 9x19mm PISTOL Su4 1921 Germany Spandau Weimar WWII
C&R Post-GREAT WAR Era LUGER and WWII REWORK
Description: WW2 DWM LUGER P.08 9x19mm PISTOL Su4 1921 Germany Spandau Weimar WWII C&R Post-GREAT WAR Era LUGER and WWII REWORK Here we present a C&R Su4 Marked Post-World War I Era German DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) Pistole Parabellum P.08 Military Luger Pistol, made in 1921 in Berlin, Germany and reworked sometime just prior to World War II at the Heers Zeugamt Su (Army Weapons Depot in Spandau). The Heers Zeugamt Su system was organized in 1920. The Luger is certainly one of the most iconic firearms in history, made so by its association with being carried by German troops during both World Wars and is perhaps the most associated with those events. The top of the chamber is dated “1921”. The proof mark “Su4” has the straight line eagle as compared to the droop wings, making this rework sometime after 1939. This one also has a struck unit or locale marking on the front of the grip frame: “Za. S. 9.”, possibly standing for Zeugampt Spandau with a rack or item number of 9. The overall condition is very good. Armory refinished. The action is excellent. The bore is in great shape, bright with sharp rifling. Solid grips. The serial numbers match throughout with the exception of the takedown lever, magazine base, and grips. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4 inches. Caliber: 9x19mm (Luger, Parabellum) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2200 #228021 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
