This is a WWII era U.S. Military Flare Pistol in 37mm manufactured by R.F.Sedgley. It is in Excellent Mechanical condition, action functions perfectly. Pistol Grips are excellent, the USN has been modified to just an S probably for Sedgley, and are often found that way. Barrel marked " R.F.SEDGLEY ; SEDGLEY SIGNAL PISTOL ; MARK IV. " Frame found with Patent date 8-22-32. Has its military lanyard ring and cord. Dated 3-19-43.
