WW2 German Walther "AC41" Model 1928 Flare Pistol for 26.5mm Flares

Description:
For sale, a nice original WW2 German flare pistol made by Walther.  This model was called the Model 1928 Flare/Signal pistol and was used extensively by multiple branches of the Nazi German military.  This example is an "AC41" marked flare pistol made by Walther in 1941 and is in good all-original condition.  It retains most of the black anodizing/finish and shows some minor wear and tear typical of an issued piece that was used but not abused.  The original brown Bakelite grips are in great shape and free from cracks or repairs.  They show some light wear consistent with the rest of the flare gun.  The bore is in good shape as well, bright without any dents, bulges, or defects.  The left side of this guns frame is stamped with the serial number "8585 b", and the makers code and date "AC41".  The right side of the frame and the barrel has nice clear Waffenamts (Eagle over 359 for Walther), as well as the Nazi proofs consisting of the eagle over the upside-down heart.  Everything works perfectly on this Model 1928 Walther, the hammer, loaded chamber indicator, trigger, and action-opening lever all function 100%.  This Nazi flare pistol would go great with any military firearm and memorabilia collection, particularly collections focused on weapons and tools of World War 2.
