Fabrique Nationale (FN) Model 1922, Caliber 7.65 mm, Manufactured in Belgium by German Occupation Forces in During WWII, plus Holster
Description: NOTE: The holster that was previously offered with this pistol is from the Yugoslavian 1922 contract with FN and not of German manufacture, so it has been removed from this listing and is not included in the price.. This pistol is a very good example of the FN M1922 pistol that was made in Belgium by German occupation forces and issued to officials and soldiers, and especially to the Luftwaffe, of the Third Reich. The pistol comes with one magazine with the FN logo on it. The pistol retains a good 90% of its original blued finish, with only minimal handling marks on and near the slide extension, as expected by the need to disassemble the firearm for cleaning. The wood grips are in excellent condition and the bore is bright with sharp rifling, as expected in a seldom used firearm. The serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, on the slide extension, and inside the slide. I have disassembled the firearm and its function is excellent, with the safety, grip safety, magazine safety, trigger, sear, and striker doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Eagle/swastika marks appear on the barrel, as visible in the ejection port, and on the left side of the frame and slide. WaA/Eagle/140 marks also appear on the left side of the frame and slide. As always, it is recommended that a qualified gusmith inspect used guns before firing. German manufacturing during the occupation is seldom seen in the condition this pistol is in, making it an excelent candidate for a quality collection. FFL required. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Payment in the form of USPS money order or Cashier's Check, please. A 3 day inspection and return is allowed, as long as the pistol is returned, unfired and un-disassembled in exactly the same condition it was shipped to the buyer in, and all parts present. Please review the photos as they are an integral part of the description. Thanks for looking.
