This is is an exceptional example of a late war German army FN High Power pistol, made during the last months of German occupation in 1944.
Serial number falls within the last 2000 guns made in B-suffix range. The gun retains over 98% of the original late war blueing with just a couple of tiny rubmarks on the right side of the slide.
Machining/finishing marks are original and show the late war expediency by the Germans. There are a few tiny discoloration spots on top of the slide, more visible when the gun is oiled. Grip straps are mint. Late war bakelite grips are mint. Bore is mint. I don't think the gun was ever fired as I see no evidence of cycling wear. All matching, including slide, frame and barrel. The magazine is the correct late war variation with a split tail floor plate and a tiny one letter proofmark on the spine.
It would be almost impossible to upgrade this extraordinary example.
