FN ~ LGK Sb Hi Power ~ 9x19

Description:
For your consideration, a Fabrique Nationale High Power chambered in 9x19. This piece is part of the1955, 10,000-pistol contract for the Austrian Landes Gendarmerie Kommando (LGK). The frame, barrel, and slide are numbers matching. Both magazines bear LGK markings and share rack numbers with the frame. All LGK marks are appended by "Sb" indicating allocation to Land Salzburg. Features include a thumbprint slide and internal extractor. The usual Belgian proofs appear throughout. Of note, this example and its matching magazines are featured on page 764 of Anthony Vanderlinden's "FN Browning Pistols, 3rd Ed." There is a very tiny import mark on the heel of the grip. 9mm Luger
