The FN Browning Model 1922 is a classic early 20th-century handgun designed by John Browning and manufactured in Belgium by FN Herstal. It is a blowback-operated, striker-fired pocket pistol that was developed as an improved and slightly enlarged version of the earlier FN Model 1910. Chambered typically in .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning), and sometimes .380 ACP, it features a longer barrel and grip than the 1910, giving it better capacity (usually 8–9 rounds) and improved handling. Known for its simple, reliable design, it was widely used by European military and police forces and saw extensive production during World War II, including under German occupation of the FN factory. Today, it is considered a collectible historical firearm valued for its Browning heritage, wartime history, and elegant early semi-automatic design.
