The Industria Argentina FN Hi-Power is a high-quality, licensed clone of the Belgian Browning Hi-Power, manufactured by Fabricaciones Militares (FM) starting around 1969 using FN-supplied machinery and expertise. CONDITION: Metal has been refinished at some point with 99% remaining, Bore is bright with numbers matching. Grips are excellent In the late 1970's, FM HPs saw minor changes in their configuration with the adoption of the FN High Power model of 1973 (Type 73) around 1978 and most had spur hammers. The roll mark on the left side changed from text covering the full panel to solely FN BROWNING. Some will have import marks stamped to the right of the FN Browning mark. The second variant FM HP continued to be manufactured by Matheu in Rosario. Collectors do not or should not refer to them as "Rosarios" as they do not have the full markings like the first variant, particularly lacking the Rosario name. 9MM
