Additional markings include import marks on the underside of the slide, the coat of arms of the Argentine Republic forward of the rear sight, and "POLICIA PROV. BS. AIRES-61" of the right frame. This piece is of Belgian manufacture and dates to 1961. The slide and frame show evidence of having been refinished. Note the magazine safety mechanism has been removed permitting magazines to drop free unhindered. 9mm Luger
