Classic, original finish and all-matching FN High Power Fixed Sight Pistol from late WWII, made under German Occupation, with WaA140 acceptance markings.

Description:

Late German Army FN High Power Pistol with fixed sight, WaA140 code to include magazine. Usual three-line manufacturer address and patent reference on left side of slide and stacked matching numbers on the right side of pistol. E/WaA140 acceptances in usual locations. Checkered/bordered wood grips, no interior paint. Correct WaA140 coded magazine with blued body, aluminum follower, and split tail floorplate.

Condition:

VG+ original salt blue finish with sharp edge wear, oxidative flecking, and toning of grip straps as consistent with a service weapon that has seen moderate use. Darkened grips with light scattered handling marks, the left panel with a noticeable indentation at top left corner. Comparable condition magazine, the WaA code lightly stamped. VG bore with oxidative etching, sharp rifling, comparable to external condition of pistol. Correct manual mechanics. A very collectable, all original and all-matching FN High Power Pistol from late WWII, increasingly difficult to find.
