FN M1922 in Rig Manufactured in Belgium by WWII German Occupation Forces
Description: This is a very good pistol/holster rig manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale Factory in WWII Herstal, Belgium by German occupation forces. I estimate the condition to about 95% original bluing present and no corrosion or oxidation. The bore is bright and shiny, with no pitting or oxidation. The holster has some stitching issues, with about one inch missing out of two inches total separation on the seam at the trigger guard area, as is visible in the photos, but is in otherwise good to very good condition. The inside flap is marked, in German, "Nur fur langer Browning Pistole, Kal 7.65," which translates to "Only for long pistol, Caliber 7.65," as is the name of the veteran that brought the rig back from the war "Bernard J. Faucher Marine City Michigan," also shown in the photos. All of the waffenamt markings are clearly struck and present, and all the serial numbers match. The is ONE (1) magazine, marked with inspector's logo and 7.65 m/m. FFL required. Buyer to pay actual shipping costs, plus insurance. Cashier's Check or USPS Money Orders only, please. This pistol is sold as a collector's item and seller makes no warranty, either expressed or implied, as to the shootability of this firearm. As always, if shooting a used firearm is contemplated, it is strongly recommended that a safety inspection be conducted by a competent gunsmith before firing as an abundance of caution. Thanks for looking.
