We get it . . . a lot more folks shoot 9mm than 40S&W, in spite of the better terminal ballistics, larger wound channels, greater energy and generally better stopping power of the 40S&W cartridge. Having said that, there are still a number of folks that favor the 40 caliber option for the reasons that I mentioned before. For those people, we have something that you’ll want to take a look at.
Some folks, considering the ballistics of the 40S&W round, prefer to shoot it through a full sized, duty type of pistol like the Glock 22. Unfortunately, Glock isn’t manufacturing a full size model 22 right now and that model is incredibly hard to find at present as well. For those people, we have something that you’ll want to take a look at.
The Glock 22 (Austria) that we have on consignment wears serial number HGC144 and all 3 serial numbers match. Like other G22 pistols, it has a 4.49 inch barrel. It’s fed by 15 round Glock magazines. An accessory rail for a tac light or laser sits just underneath the barrel.
The owner of the pistol states that he’s ran about 75 rounds through the pistol. Our examination shows the bore and barrel to be clean and minty. The frame, slide and grip are all Near Mint. Even the top of the barrel lug shows very little finish loss, leading us to believe that the 75 rounds is probably an accurate count. There also a couple of make-sense upgrades that have been done. The owner installed a heavier recoil spring to reduce felt recoil and also states that he upgraded the trigger spring.
There’s a pretty valuable bonus that comes with the pistol. The previous owner purchased a very nice leather should rig for this pistol. This is a Galco leather shoulder holster and harness with a double magazine carrier. The leather is in Excellent condition.
