Very good condition, light wear, samll scratches, comes with 2 mags and wood case. The m/40 was a licensed copy of the Finnish Lahti L-35 pistol, designed by Aimo Lahti. It was produced on the request of the Swedish Army. Production of the m/40 began in 1940 and it was immediately adopted by the Swedish Army. Due to Sweden's neutrality during World War II, it never saw combat use during this time, and production ceased a year after the war ended, in 1946. 950 leftover pistols were exported for commercial sale. The m/40 remained in Swedish service until the 1980s, when it was replaced by the Glock pistol. 9mm Luger
