Desirable Unique Model 17 Kriegsmodell pistol, basically a Model 17 with an external hammer, cal 7.65mm, made in France. This single action pistol has a fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked "7.65 COURT 9 COUPS 'UNIQUE'” over the manufacturer address. Left side of frame with the F/S safety reference. Right side of frame marked with the serial number “110835”. Disassembly shows all major components matched to the serial number “835”. Fitted with the original grips. Original magazine with two indicator slots and an unmarked floorplate.
Condition:
VG+ with sharp edge wear as befitting a military pistol that has seen light use. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A classic French pistol with the scarce external hammer, made under German occupation, in WWII.
