The engraving on the frame is first quality with tight well executed scrolls. The stocks are in near new condition with perfect very fine, sharp checkering. The trigger guard has almost all of the original blue. This is an absolutely lovely gun. Joseph Lang was a top notch maker that mainly made Shotguns and big impact on the development of breech loading shotguns. He also developed the 470 Nitro Express Cartridge. (AH8752)
