Long before there was the Taurus Judge or some of the other more powerful handguns, there was the Thompson Center Contender.  Does anyone remember how difficult it was for T/C to even bring this unit to market? Putting a rifle or shotgun round in a handgun was not just a hobbyist one-off, but was about to go into mass production and in 1994, T/C did just that.  This particular unit has her original deep bluing, smooth break-open action and will handle .45LC and .410 Gauge out of the same barrel with an adapter.  She comes with an original leather holster and barrel key.  Other barrels can be purchased to make this pistol whatever you want her to be.  Even today, there still is not much out there just like her.  We at KTC commend Thompsen Center and celebrate the innovation.  Here's your chance to own a very solid handgun, and a piece of firearms history.  $50 Shipping
