Scarce Valmet, L-35, Early Finnish Commercial Pistol, 7365, FB00900
Description:
After WWII, Valmet manufactured approx 2500 L-35 pistols, in 9mmP, for commercial sale, largely using military overrun parts in the serial range 6800-9300. This early example still retains the loaded indicator in a rectangular housing, the slide markings having been altered from the military VKT to the commercial VALMET/L-35. Mechanical features are otherwise identical to the late military pistols other than the frame no longer having the shoulder stock lug. This all matching pistol has the correct brown mottled plastic grips each molded with the VKT logo and secured with a single screw. All blued and unmarked magazine likely taken from a Swedish M40 pistol.
Condition:
VG+ with light holster wear, superficial scratches and front/backstrap thinning as photographed. Excellent grips Very bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A very nice example, easily upgraded with a correct magazine.
