Description:
Standard configuration French S.A.C.M. Model 1935-A semiautomatic pistol made for the German military during WWII with 4.25" barrel, cal. 7.65x20 Long, SN: D 2948 A. Drift adjustable shallow patridge front sight and fixed square notch rear sight. Loaded indicator, checkered rowel hammer. Left side of slide marked "Mle 1935-A", manufacturer marking "S.A.C.M.", and full SN. Barrel displays eagle stamp marking with matching number "48" stamped at the slide-barrel junction. Fitted with checkered / bordered black plastic grips. Phosphated magazine body with seven indicator holes and blued, integral floorplate. Most components final finished with black enamel paint. Waffenamt marked on left side of frame upon receipt by German military. Disassembly shows a matching slide and matching, Waffenamt-marked barrel.
Condition:
VG-EXC original black painted enamel finish with sharp edge wear and handling marks as one might expect from a military pistol. Usual haloing around the Waffenamt mark on the left side of the frame. Comparable condition grips with slight blunting of checkering. Magazine with expected insertional wear. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
