Dreyse 1910 in 9mmP, matching magazine.1
Description: Standard configuration pistol with fixed front and rear sights. Shallow matted rib. Left side of frame with two line manufacturer address. Crown/N proofing on left side of slide, receiver and above trigger. “DREYSE” on the right side. Fixed ejector on left side between the receiver legend and recess, no evidence of police marking. Major and most minor components finished with a matted rust blue. Fire blue grip screw, likely a replacement, escutcheon, and magazine release. Hard rubber grips molded to have the intertwined initials of the manufacturer above a broad area of checkering. Original matching magazine, early configuration with split tail floorplate, having six indicator holes and floorplate marked “146 I” consistent with police use. Synopsis: Very scarce Dreyse M1910 with matching magazine. Condition: Approximately 90-95% original rust blue with scattered freckling and thinning of the front strap. Original grips in same general condition with left panel showing losses near lanyard ring. Faded but original condition magazine. Generally bright bore with dull grooves. Functional manual mechanics with very sluggish recoil spring, slide needing to be "nudged" home. An impressive and scarce pistol from the WWI era, especially nice with a matching magazine. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! ~~Insured shipping fee of $155; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~ SOLD Manufacturer: Dreyse Serial Number: 1146 Caliber Info: 9 mmP |
