This is a beautiful original condition Mauser Broomhandle C96 pistol, made for German Army during WWI. It is chambered in potent 7.63 mm Mauser cartridge and was produced as part of the army contract alongside "Red 9" C96. The gun is one of the best I had owned and retains about 98% of its original blue with just a hint of wear on the tips of the rails, under the barrel(from sliding in and out of the stock) and on the bottom of the mag well. The gun is all matching, including the internals and grips. The bore is excellent. Imperial Crown/F proof is present on the right side of the barrel extension. Beautiful vivid fireblue on the extractor, rear sight cursor, trigger and the safety lever. The stock is in comparable condition, is imperial proofed and has no cracks. It is matching to the gun.
This rig's condition would be difficult to upgrade, especially for a military handgun.
An original maker marked leather harnes can be made available to the buyer at a separate price.
