WWII NAZI German Police Marked Walther PP Pistol
Description: WWII NAZI German Police Marked Walther PP Pistol “Eagle/F” Police Marked with Original Marked Holster! Here we present a Walther PP Pistol (Polizeipistole), made circa 1944. Walther began making the PP in 1929 and it was very popular as a police pistol, hence the name. The PP was also used extensively by German police and military before and during the Second World War. Specifically, the Luftewaffe and Panzer tank crews were issued the PP. This model was the larger version upon which the perhaps more famous PPK was based. The PPK was the small pistol most famously used by the fictional spy, James Bond, but was also the pistol supposedly used in Hitler’s alleged suicide. This example is marked with a Police acceptance mark “Eagle/F” on the left frame, behind the trigger guard. The barrel and right frame are marked with “Eagle/N”. The overall condition is fine. The steel surfaces retain 90% bluing. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match. The wood grips are very good. The bore is shiny and clean. The action is strong. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3.9 inches in length (98mm). Caliber: 7.65x17mm Browning (.32 ACP) The bore is in fine condition and the action is excellent.
