Description:
The Heckler & Koch VP9 Semi-Auto Pistol utilizes an enhanced VP trigger to give shooters a short, light take-up, with a solid, single action type break, followed by a short positive reset. The trigger enables shooters to obtain the pistol's full accuracy potential and greatly enhances fire control when delivering repeated shots on target quickly. A beavertail-like tang at the top of the backstrap and an undercut trigger guard encourages shooters to grip high, close to the bore's centerline axis, which manages recoil for fast follow-up shots. An extended Picatinny rail molded into the frame provides for the attachment of tactical sights and lights; and is certified to handle mounted accessories up to 5.6 ounces. The machined steel slide is protected from corrosion and wear by HK's proprietary black finish. The slide features aggressive front and rear serrations and patented charging supports mounted to the slide to aid in loading and clearing the weapon. All controls are completely ambidextrous. The VP Semi-Auto Pistol uses HK's famous cold hammer forged barrel with a polygonal bore that contributes to longevity and accuracy.
