Description:
Scarce H&K P9S Sport Pistol package in 9mmP, made 1978, with 5.5" barrel /"Sport" marked counterweight and 4" barrel /matching spare slide assembly. SN: 103653. Drift adjustable front and rear sights: white highlighted sights on the standard length slide assembly; Sport pistol sights with blackened recesses. Left side of slides marked with the usual H&K Mod P9S legend along with serial number and Eagle/N proofing. Serial number repeated on the left side of the frame. Matching barrel hoods marked with caliber, manufacturer, SN, and proof. Right side of frame with "HI" year code (1978) and Eagle/N proof. Thumb safety, marked with white / red detents, that shrouds firing pin. Polymer frame with walnut grip secured on back with two screws. Three magazines, each with three longitudinal indicator slots and a button-detachable floorplate, one marked "HK 10.75". Complete with keyed black leatherette carrying case, grey foam liner compartmentalized for the pistol, extra slide assembly, two spare magazines, two disassembly tools (only one present), and extra grip (not included). No literature.
Condition:
VG+ original finish, slide assemblies in comparable condition, with sharp edge wear consistent with careful use, rear tang area around cocking indicator enlarged and missing a small fragment. Oil darkened grip with blunted texturing. The two unmarked magazines with commensurate wear, each with a modified floorplate, tip bent downward to present a larger/more comfortable gripping area around the front strap. The third magazine, nearly new, manufacturer marked and dated, unaltered. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC case, liner, and disassembly tool.
