1978 Vintage 4'5" High Standard The Victor .22LR Target Pistol w/ Box
** Minty & Appears Test-Fired Only **
Description:
This is one of the cleanest and most pristine late 1970's vintage High Standard "The Victor" .22LR semi-auto pistols we have seen in quite some time. It comes complete with it's original box with the original factory-applied end-label still in place as well as the upper and lower styrofoam inserts. While we have no way to know for sure, it certainly could pass for being unfired since leaving the East Hartford High Standard factory in 1979. The original factory blue finish is spectacular, rating 98% plus. The factory gold finish on the trigger and safety lever is like-new, as-is the factory case colors on the magazine release. All of the factory stampings are crisp and clean, and the factory gold-fill in the lettering is 98% or better. The bore is perfect with a mirror-bright shine and sharp rifling throughout. The original checkered right-handed Walnut grips are like-new and match each other in every way possible. The action on this pistol is extremely slick and smooth, almost like it is on ball bearings. The slide-to-frame fitment is as good as it gets. Both the bolt face and rear face of the barrel are in excellent condition and show little to no evidence of having been fired. All of the controls on this rimfire pistol are in perfect working order. As you could imagine, the internals of this pistol are just as pristine and free from visible wear as the exterior. This High Standard Victor comes with one factory magazine in excellent condition with perfect feed lips and a strong follower spring. If you have been looking for a "collector grade" High Standard Victor, here is your chance to get one that needs ZERO apologies or excuses. With the prices of these high-condition and all-original High Standard target pistols steadily climbing every year, it will never be cheaper than it is now to buy one!
