Hi Standard Model H-E Collector condition with Box & Instructions, Very Rare Apex of High Standard Hammer guns C & R

Description:
Price Reduced. Hi Standard H-E Target Pistol .22LR 6 3/4" Barrel, Box with wooden insert, Instructions, two correct two tone magazines, cleaning tools and an old High Standard patch. Original finish. Slide shows little wear. Deluxe "Roper" style grips with thumb rest for right handed shooter. (Grips were not made by Roper, but everyone seems to refer to these as Roper anyway :)). The H-E had the heaviest barrel that was placed on a High Standard Hammer gun. Very few manufactured. Heavier barrel than the most common H-D Militarys. No safety as is found on the H-D military guns. Hammer has half cock notch to prevent discharge in the event of a drop or blow to the hammer on a loaded chamber. I have shot lots of .22 target pistols, and my old High Standard Hammer guns are incredibly accurate. Even more accurate than my HS Victors, and Smith 41's. I am sure this will not dissapoint, but for most this will be a collector's piece. As well it sholujld be. The only flaw of consequence are a few small nicks on the left side of the barrel close to the muzzle. WIth the finish being 100% original, I have never tried to touch these nicks up. They should show up well in the photos. Not inexpensive, but not easy to find, and especially not in this condition. Personal checks preferred. No tax, or other fees other than $60 to ship.
