Description:
Desirable High Standard, Model B, High Polish, made as a training pistol for the US Military during WWII. Caliber: .22 LR, SN: 101741. Standard configuration pistol with 4.5” barrel, serrated ramp front sight, and drift adjustable rear sight. Usual High Standard markings on left side of frame and slide. “PROPERTY OF U.S.” on top of barrel and right side of frame with added ordnance wheel that cuts through the blue finish. Serial number on front strap. Fitted with black HS logo checkered plastic grips. Correct magazine.
Condition:
VG/EXC with light holster wear and scattered handling marks/nicks. Near EXC original grips and VG magazine. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A very attractive and early high polish High Standard military training pistol from WWII.
