High Standard ~ Model G ~ 380 ACP

Description:
Hi-Standard Model G-380 semi-automatic pistol in .380 ACP. This example is in excellent condition and comes with the factory box and (1) original magazine. The Model G .380 has its owner separate serial number range and ran from serial 100 through 7,881. Production of the G .380 began late in 1947 through Late 1951 with a few outliers late. The Model G also had a removable barrel secured by a spring-loaded latch in front of the trigger guard. The left side of the slide is marked "HI-STANDARD / MODEL G 380". The left side of the frame is marked "MADE IN U.S.A. / HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. / NEW HAVEN, CONN. / PATENT PENDING". The front of the grip is marked "6605". The front sight is a blade with a serrated rear face fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch dovetailed to the rear of the barrel. The grips are two-piece checkered black plastic. .380 ACP

Metal Condition: Near new condition on the frame slide and barrel. The magazine has some minor contact marks from the mag well - (98% remaining).
Wood Condition: The checkered plastic grips are in near new condition.
Triggers: Serrated single action trigger.
