High Standard, H.D. Military,  GERMAN ENGRAVED w/ CARVED IVORY, .22 LR, 4 1/2”, c.1946, EXC. Cond.

Description:
          *** Price Reduced ***   This High Standard H. D. Military Model was manufactured Mid 1946 and remains in Exc. condition. It is beautifully engraved with carved Ivory grips mounted. The bore is as new and it is fully functional.
            The history of this gun is very interesting. It was purchased in the early 1950’s at the Wiesbaden Rod & Gun Club at the Wiesbaden Air Force Base in Germany. The firm of Kurt Jeager was the supplier to the R&G Club. Jaeger had 3 Master Engravers working for him.  Emil & his son Claus Willing, and Gustav Schildbach. The pistol is unsigned but one of these 3 men did the engraving. The pistol is beautifully engraved over its entire surface with the exception of the barrel bottom. The Ivory grips are beautifully carved with the left grip having 2 running Buck and the right grip shows 2 running Bore.
          This is a beautiful example of the engravers art applied to a firearm. This is clearly an investment piece that will be treasured for many years.   .22 L.R. Cal. with a 4 ½”  Barrel.  Serial Number 240075 FFL or C&R Required.

ALL Federal, State, & Local firearms laws will be followed.  I will take NO shortcuts in the process of a legal sale or transfer, so please don’t ask.
Payment & SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt. Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this handgun is $50.00.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy either mailed or emailed will be required for shipment to only the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed.  All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay. 
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 45 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyer’s responsibility.
