This is the High Standard 106 Military series pistol designed to provide the same grip angle and feel as a Colt 1911 except in 22lr. They were produced from 1965-68, and the 106 Military series was offered in 5 different models, The Tournament, Citation and Trophy were all 22 LR and the Olympics were in 22 short. The base model entry level was the Tournament and the Trophy being the top of the line. This on is the Trophy and in excellent condition with bright blueing and original matching box and weights making this a complete unit. It comes with 2 magazines, two of which are marked to match on the bottom. There is some \"box wear\" on the underside (see in picture) that is very minor and could be touched up if you wanted to. This is a superb shooting 22 and ease of use. Gold plated safety lever and inlay make this a very nice collector or shooter. Priced to sell, seeing these going for over $1,000. Based on the serial number, this should be an earlier one most likely from 1966.
