Description:
Early production High Standard Sharpshooter-M (military frame) pistol with 5.5" bull barrel, no provision for muzzle brake, with detachable ramped patridge front sight and fully adjustable slide-mounted rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked with caliber. Directly below, on the frame, is "Sharpshooter-M", slide with "High Standard". The right side of the barrel is marked with the High Standard address in East Hartford, right side of frame with the full serial number. As an early Hartford production, barrel disassembly is via a push button. Military style frame with checkered grips suited for a right handed shooter. Detachable magazine with blued body, the right side with five and ten cartridge indicators, green plastic follower, and fixed unmarked steel floor plate. Complete with original matching shipping box, styrofoam inserts and warranty/instruction literature.
Condition:
Beautiful 99+% original finish with just the faintest sharp edge / handling wear. Comparable condition grips with sharp checkering. Magazine with minimal insertional wear. Mirror bore.
