Description:
Standard configuration High Standard Military 107 Series .22 LR pistol, made in Hamden, CT, 1968-1976, with matching slide, 5.5" bull barrel having serrated crest, three counterweight plug screws, recesses for muzzle brake, patridge front sight and a bridging, fully adjustable rear sight mounted to frame. Left side of the pistol is marked with ".22 Long Rifle", manufacturer, and model; right side has the Hamden address, and "MILITARY" marked frame adjacent to the serial number. Tiny holdopen spring is present. Target checkered grips with the left panel contoured for a thumb rest. Correct magazine with green follower and unmarked steel floorplate. Major component blued; safety, trigger, and magazine release are chromed.
Condition:
EXC original salt blue with minor sharp edge wear in the usual locations as expected for a carefully maintained target pistol. Grips with oil staining, a few minor handling marks, still crisp checkering. Comparable condition magazine with insertional wear as photographed. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
