Standard configuration High Standard Supermatic Trophy Model 107 Military pistol circa 1970, cal. .22 LR, SN: 2287166, with 5.5 inch bull barrel, full complement of counterweight screws, recessed for muzzle brake, Patridge front sight, and fully adjustable rear sight. Left side of barrel marked ".22 LONG RIFLE" with adjacent frame marked "SUPERMATIC / TROPHY", the left side of the slide marked "HIGH STANDARD". Right side of barrel marked with company name and address in Hamden, Connecticut, the adjacent frame “MODEL 107/MILITARY” and the full serial number. Trigger and safety gold plated. Magazine release with a dark, color case hardened finish. Coarsely checkered walnut grips, the left panel with a comfortable thumb rest. Late magazine, green plastic follower, the right side with a follower button and 5 and 10 shot indicators, unmarked blued steel floorplate.
Condition:
The salt blue components retain 99.99% of their original brightly polished / matte finish. Comparable condition safety lever and grips. As is common to many of the Trophy pistols, as a result of poor metal prep at factory, not related to use, considerable gold plate has peeled from the trigger, particularly on the face and left side. EXC magazine with only light insertional wear. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
