Description:
Custom John Giles High Standard Supermatic Trophy Chambered in .22 Long Rifle. This is a semi-automatic target pistol. The left side of the frame is marked "Supermatic / Trophy". The left side of the slide is marked "HIGH / STANDARD". The left side of the barrel rib is marked "Giles .45 Shop / Odessa, Florida". The heavy bull barrel is 5 1/2 inches in length with a full-length solid rib screwed to the barrel. This pistol is mounted with a square notched flat topped rear target sight adjustable for windage and elevation. The sight is mounted on the rear of the barrel rib. Both the elevation and windage screws are click adjustable, with the elevation screw having a serrated edge for manual adjustment as well as a slot for a screwdriver. The front sight is a Patridge style blade fixed to the front of the barrel rib. The top of the barrel rib is serrated and has a matte finish to reduce glare. The grips are checkered walnut with a smooth thumbrest on the left grip. It has a high gloss blue finish with gold-plated trigger and safety and case-hardened magazine release. The front and back of the grip are stippled and have a matte finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. This pistol has no box. A magazine is NOT included. .22 Long
