The sub-heading for the PMR30 from Kel Tec says it all, fun, unique and powerful. You might take a second glance at the “powerful" statement since this creative semi-auto is chambered in .22WMR. More powerful than the traditional .22 Long Rifle cartridge, the .22 WMR (also known as the .22 magnum) is a popular caliber for varmint hunting, small game, and primarily target shooting.

Often in all the talk swirling around personal protection, foot pounds of energy, bullet drop and all the other ballistic data the pure fun of shooting is lost. The PMR30 brings back that joy many of us experienced in our youth with that first .22 single-shot rifle in our early teens.

Kel Tec created a futuristic design, in a compact size that holds 30 22WMR cartridges in a standard magazine inside the grip. The pistol is extremely light at just 14 ounces empty and a great choice to take with you on backpacking trips into the wilderness.
