The Kimber Custom II Two-Tone is one of their finest all-round pistols available. It features a brushed-polished carbon steel slide and a stainless steel frame with rosewood grips. The slide has front and rear serrations. It comes with one 8-round KimPro Tac-Mag, one 8-round standard Kimber magazine, and one 7-round Kimber magazine. The latter is a bit unusual as most modern 1911 magazines, like the first two mentioned, will hold 8 rounds instead of 7. The original magazines used in the early 1911 pistols held only 7 rounds more due to the quality of spring steel back in the early 20th century. Today’s spring steel allows for an additional round without having to make the magazine any longer than the originals. The synthetic extension attached to the Tac-Mag is for allowing the user to remove the magazine in the unlikely event of the magazine not dropping for some reason. The original sights have been replaced by a set of low-profile night sights. The pistol is in excellent condition though it has the light scratch mark on the frame below the slide lock.
