Made prior to Les Baer's escape/emancipation from Illinois in 2008, serial TR00261 was actually made for Suzi Huntington, Roy's much better half, former LEO, writer, editor and dedicated shooter with a wicked sense of humor. (Suzi insisted on receiving serial "261" from Clint Smith because that number is the California Penal Code number for rape and, in Suzi's words, this pistol was to become her way of saying "I don't think so!".) A full-size 1911, features include a 5-inch match grade barrel, Trijicon night sights, narrow slide serrations, 30 lines-per-inch checkered front strap, bumped beavertail grip safety, checkered mainspring housing and a beveled magazine well. "Suzi" is lightly engraved on slide left opposite the ejection port. It is proven to be very accurate. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Fits are tight and the trigger pull is crisp. Metal finish crowds 90 percent. The night sight lamps have faded. INCLUSIONS: Other than what is described or pictured there are no additional inclusions.
